Rare Singer sewing machine 231-4 Manual

This is a rare original Singer Sewing Machine manual for a 231-4

It is in very good condition with slight aging marks. and a very light rust mark where the staples are in the middle of the book.

Books measures 21cm x 14cm, which is double the normal size manual.

The 147-106 and 147-107 machine are a two needle, two looper which makes a two- thread chain stitch.

Machine 231-4 is a Feed-of-the-arm two needle and two looper two-thread chain stitch machine. Designed for lap seam felling shirts, underwear, pyjamas and similar tubular work in light and medium weight materials.
