I have a small collection of Dainite rubber buttons in their original boxes.
There are 4 different sizes, each are a creamy white colour with two holes.
The smallest size 18 which is a 12mm button - this box is in excellent condition
Size 20 is 14mm - one box in excellent condition, and 3 with minor damage.
Size 22 is 16mm 3 boxes in excellent condition, 2 with minor damage
Size 36 is 24mm both boxes have damage to one end.
"Dainite" is a trade name of The Harboro Rubber Co. of Market Harborough.
The rubber buttons were hard-wearing, washable and could be used to hold undergarments in place.
These would make an excellent display, or could be used to produce authentic undergarments.
All my items are vintage and therefore there may be some signs a age, I will always try to highlight any obvious issues.
