This is a cotton Christening gown from what I believe the 1960/70's. Maybe a bit earlier.
The front has a beautiful Broderie Anglaise detail, with tin picks, which is continued (different pattern) all around the Botton between the pin tucks.
The back has just the pin tucks and hand made buttons and button holes.
There are a couple of very tiny marks, which I have tried to show in the pictures.
The back also has a patch inserted in the skirt part of the dress. This is barely noticeable.
Measurements:
108cm (42.5 inches) from top of shoulder to bottom of skirt
20.5cm (8 inches) front yoke
23cm (9 inches) sleeve length
173cm (68 inches) wide at the bottom
