WWI Veterinary Cotton Apron

$39.44

Shipping to United States: Free

This is believed to have belonged to Captain A A Higgins of the British Army Veterinary Corps who died on 25th October 1918 in Greece.

It is in excellent condition, although there is a cut in one of the tie ribbons, but this could either be replaced or darned if wanting to use it for re-enactments.

Measures:

34 inches (86cm) - waist band
22 inches (55cm) - top of apron width
34.5 inches (87.5cm) at bottom of apron
33.5 inches ((85cm) long

It shows clearly A A Higgins and a small red embroidered triangle as a laundry identification sign.

Please note all my items are vintage and therefore some may show signs of aging; I will always try to show this in the pictures.

If you are purchasing from outside the UK, please note you may have additional customs fees to pay.
