Marvel machine for hand embroidery made by The Marvello Embroidery Company of New York.
This is a small steel device dating from c. 1920s to do hand embroidery stitching by hand.
It comes with extra needles. I have not tested the device so am unsure if it currently works.
Box measures 7 1/4" long and 2 1/4" wide. The embroidery machine is about 7" long.
A fascinating device for collectors of vintage sewing equipment.
